Cardiac Rehabilitation Care

Welcome to Cardiac Rehabilitation Care

West Tennessee Heart & Vascular Center offers a medically supervised program for people who have suffered a cardiac event or have a chronic heart condition. Cardiac trained professionals, including nurses and an exercise physiologist, will guide your exercise program while your heart is being monitored and you are under doctor’s supervision.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at West Tennessee Heart & Vascular Center is designed to return to the mainstream of society those individuals who have:

  • A heart attack
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Angioplasty
  • Stent placement
  • Angina
  • Heart valve repair / replacement

  • Help you feel safe and know that support is available
  • Help you learn how to reduce your risk of recurrent heart disease

The 12-week program meets three days a week — on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — for exercise and educational classes. Our Cardiac Rehabilitation team will set up a program based on your specific needs. Each exercise class includes staff supervision and telemetry heart monitoring in a well-equipped area.

In addition to exercise sessions, you, your spouse, family members and significant others are invited to attend educational classes, offered weekly.
